⛪️ Hello my dear devouts ⛪️
Today is an important day in the Catholic world as cardinals gather for a conclave and try to elect a new pope. And I have good news for you:
"Habemus Pelliculam!" - Aurélien 2025
I have an amazing movie to recommend, with the amazing Ralph Fiennes, revolving around the election of a new pope that was released just last year. And cherry on top of the cake, it was probably my favourite movie of 2024.
So do not miss out on it!
Vale et specta cum gaudio,
Aurelianus

"I had to wait for the last week of the year to finally find my favourite 2024 movie! An incredible insight in the (fictional) Catholic church, a reflection of humankind, capable of the worst and the best. Very powerful dialogues, impactful sound design and spotless acting."
"It was a combo that couldn't fail: great actors, sleek directing, a good script, but overall…dialogues that hit you right in the soul. This movie is about the politics of being human and how the certainty of "knowledge” can be detrimental to our species, although it's what we are all seeking in the end."
